The Kansas City Chiefs enter Sunday atop the AFC.
At 5-0, Kansas City is the AFC's only undefeated team after returning from their early-season bye last week and comfortably beating the Los Angeles Chargers 22-6, piling up 422 total yards while holding Justin Herbert and company to just 259 in the process.
The real star of the show, though, has been running back Kenneth Walker III. The offseason addition rumbled for 128 yards and two touchdowns on 19 carries, including a 33-yard scoring dash in the win. Walker now has 665 rushing yards, and he has shown no sign of slowing down. Next up? A revenge game against his former team.
Patrick Mahomes' return from a reconstructed ACL has gone about as smoothly as Chiefs fans could have hoped, and Kansas
City is looking every bit like a Super Bowl contender.
There is one lingering concern: Rashee Rice is still dealing with a hamstring injury after missing the Chargers game. His eventual return would give Mahomes another dangerous weapon, but Kansas City has managed just fine without him so far.
So, with Mahomes rolling and Walker running wild, what's next for the red-hot Chiefs? Here's what Kansas City’s 2026 schedule looks like.
