A reconciliation for Kourtney Kardashian Barker and Jennifer Lawrence is in the Kards.
Kardashian Barker, the eldest of Kar-Jenner siblings, revealed on the Season 8 premiere of “The Kardashians” (Hulu, Thursdays) how much the Oscar-winning actress’ recent criticisms stung, and that Lawrence expressed her regret in an email.
During a round of Vanity Fair’s Lie Detector Tests, which was shared to the outlet’s YouTube channel in November 2025, Lawrence identified Khloé Kardashian as her favorite Kardashian.
“Kourtney is more annoying than ever,” Lawrence, 36, told a puzzled Robert Pattinson, her “Die My Love” costar. “She drives me nuts… Because everything has to be an announcement. It’s like, ‘I’m not going to wear outfits anymore.’ Like, just wear whatever
you want. Don’t make an announcement about it. Or, like, ‘I don’t have a TV in my room.’ Just don’t watch TV. Stop announcing it. Just shh!”

While driving with her friend, Simon Huck, Kardashian Barker, 47, explained that her emotions stirred back up after her mom, Kris Jenner, sent her family a message, saying, "'Jennifer Lawrence and Emma Stone, I talked to them last night. They’re the best,' or something."
"And I go, ‘F--- that b----, Jennifer Lawrence,'" the Poosh founder recalled.
According to Kardashian Barker, Lawrence asked Kim Kardashian for her email to apologize after the video went viral. In the note, Lawrence allegedly said, "I just feel like I’m one of your sisters." But that comment didn't sit well with Kardashian Barker, who recalled telling Jenner to "invite her over" so she could "slap the s--- out of her."
"I'll go for it like she’s my sister,'" Kardashian Barker quipped.

However, after watching the segment again, Kardashian Barker noted that she saw the situation differently. "It’s not that bad, actually," she admitted.
“It wasn’t that bad,” Huck agreed. “It came from a fan place.”
Kardashian Barker also acknowledged that Lawrence's comment came during "a really sensitive week … and I felt like our show was airing and everybody was ganging up on me."
She also praised Lawrence’s thoughtful email, which she said was “so nice," though she had not yet responded because she saw it late in the evening. Huck then advised his friend to respond with “something funny."
“I’ll just say, 'Next time you want to come over, we can go at it Kourtney and Kim-style,'" Kardashian Barker joked.
“That’s what you need to say because she’ll know that fight,” Huck added, referring to the clash between Kardashian Barker and her younger sister. They got into a physical altercation on Season 18 of their inaugural reality series, E!’s “Keeping Up with the Kardashians" (2007–2021) over Kim’s doubts about her sister’s work ethic.
Lawrence has been an outspoken cheerleader of the Kardashian family and their reality TV programs. On the set of Darren Aronofsky’s 2017 horror film, “Mother!” a “Kardashian tent” was erected to help ensure Lawrence’s wellbeing remained intact.
“It was a tent that had pictures of the Kardashians and ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ playing on a loop − and gumballs,” Lawrence told Vogue, as the magazine’s September 2017 cover star. “My happy place.”
