The Week 6 slate in college football features a marquee showdown between 5-0 teams. Actually, there are two such pairings on the schedule, but one will get considerably more hype even though it’s the other one that involves the defending national champion. In any case, those are just two of the US LBM Coaches Poll Top 25 games our panel of pigskin prognosticators will ponder this week.
The headliner of course is No. 2 Georgia hitting the road to Tuscaloosa to meet No. 7 Alabama, two of the most successful SEC programs in the playoff era. The other battle of unbeatens is in the Big Ten, where No. 5 Indiana pays a visit to Nebraska, which is unranked but hoping to change that with a quality win.

A couple other Top 25 tilts are on tap as well. Elsewhere
in the SEC, No. 25 Kentucky puts its recent poll appearance on the line hosting No. 10 LSU. In the Big Ten’s west-coast enclave No. 13 Oregon welcomes No. 22 UCLA to Eugene. Oh yeah, it’s also Red River week as No. 1 Texas looks to avoid a stunner against struggling rival Oklahoma.
How will those games unfold, and how will the rest of the teams in the US LBM Coaches Poll fare? Here’s what our staff experts think.
