New York Giants RB Cam Skattebo ran 12 times for 36 yards in a Week 2 loss to the Los Angeles Rams. He also caught all four of his targeted passes for 19 yards.

Why It Matters: With Jaxson Dart (knee) knocked out of the game on the first drive, the Giants' offense went in the tank. They tried to get the ground game going with Skattebo, but he was ineffective. It's tough to read too much into a performance when the game plan gets thrown out the window due to an injury to your starting quarterback, but it was slightly alarming that the Giants went with Najee Harris inside the 5-yard line. While Skattebo continues to operate as the No. 1 option in the backfield, the team gave seven carries to the duo of Harris and Devin Singletary,
which is just five fewer than Skattebo. The former Sun Devil looks like more of a low-end RB2 right now.
