MLB playoff picture: Wild card standings, AL and NL bracket

Less than three weeks remain in Major League Baseball's regular season, with the final wild card spots up for grabs in both the American and National Leagues.

While all six division races are more or less settled, there's a handful of teams with just a couple of games for the third wild card spots, with the Cleveland Guardians, Toronto Blue Jays and Texas Rangers

fighting in the AL and Arizona Diamondbacks and San Diego Padres in the NL.

The New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox have run away with the top two AL wild card berths, as have the Philadelphia Phillies and Chicago Cubs in the NL.

There's still jockeying for the byes to the Division Series, with the Atlanta Braves and Los Angeles Dodgers within a game for NL's No. 2 seed behind the Milwaukee

Brewers. The Dodgers didn't earn the bye last year, but breezed through the wild card series en route to a second consecutive championship.
