Cardi B is sick and tired of all the complaining.
During an Aug. 11 X Spaces conversation, the "Bodega Baddie" singer, 33, addressed fans who have rushed her to put out on new music and questioned why some songs get music videos and more promotion than others.
Instead of motivating her to get back into the studio, Cardi said the complaints have the opposite effect.
"When y'all complain, y'all don't make me wanna sit down and be like, 'You know what, well maybe I need to start doing this, maybe I need to start doing this, maybe I should just start doing this and more and more and that,'" Cardi said. "... And I ain't doing (expletive) now. How about that. That's the type of person I am."

She added: "Y'all know I have not been in the studio. Y'all know I have not been doing
all of that (expletive) right now because like I said, I was gonna take off this summer. I've told myself this summer I'm gonna take off, I'm gonna live my best life."
Between "working her (expletive) off" at the beginning of the year and going through a breakup, the Grammy winner has earned the right to blow off some steam and focus on her businesses, she thinks.
"As I'm out in the club and everything, I'm like 'You know what? I'm gonna feed the streets.' I'm gonna feed the streets," Cardi said. "I'm gonna put out a snippet. If people like it, I'll put it out. If people don't like it, I just, you know, simply don't put it out."
Cardi B living her best life at Old Navy party
Cardi is sticking to her word.
A day after the mom of four hosted the X Spaces chat with fans, she was spotted having a grand ol' time at Old Navy's "Denim Dive" launch party, celebrating the release of their new Fall Denim Campaign.
Cardi pulled up to the function donning not one, but two different colored cardigans. She paired the colorful look with a cropped trouser and an emerald green Chanel 25 that matched her crisp manicure.
The "Bodak Yellow" singer leads the brand’s "Most Wanted Denim" campaign alongside a star-studded lineup of models and digital creators, including Paloma Elsesser, Brooks Nader, Haley Baylee, Wisdom Kaye and Quenlin Blackwell.
