The last time these cats met those birds, running back Saquon Barkley took flight.
The Jacksonville Jaguars will "host" the Philadelphia Eagles in London in the two teams' first meeting since the game featuring
the Eagles running back's famous backwards hurdle in 2024. There likely won't be similar fireworks in this year's clash given Barkley's hamstring injury, so someone else will need to step up.
The Week 5 matchup is the second of three straight games taking place in the capital of the United Kingdom after the Colts defeated the Commanders last week. Jacksonville will also play one more game in London in Week 6 before returning stateside.

Is there an NFL London game today?
Yes, there is an NFL London game on Sunday, Oct. 11.
The Jacksonville Jaguars are "hosting" the Philadelphia Eagles in the Week 5 NFL London game. It's the first inter-conference matchup between the two teams since 2024: Saquon Barkley's backwards hurdle game.
Jacksonville is playing its first of two straight games across the pond this week – next week, the Jaguars will play the Texans at Wembley Stadium. The Jaguars are off to a hot start this season with their 3-1 record, as much a product of their defense – second-fewest points allowed through four weeks – as their offense, schemed by head coach Liam Coen. The AFC South leaders are seeking their third straight win in Week 5 after last week's 22-17 victory over the Bengals.
The Eagles head to London on a more negative trajectory. Their offense has floundered – its 18.8 points per game rank seventh-worst and 269.8 yards per game rank fourth-worst through four weeks. After getting embarrassed by the Case Keenum-led Bears in Week 3, Philadelphia blew a 10-point lead in seven and a half minutes to lose to the Rams last week.
This week's NFL London game is scheduled for its usual kickoff time of 9:30 a.m. ET and will air nationally on NFL Network. Local fans for each team will be able to watch the game on a local cable network.
