It's playoff time in Major League Baseball.
Twelve teams remain in the hunt for a World Series title, with a month's worth of postseason action on the way to determine who'll reign supreme.
In the American League, the division champion Tampa Bay Rays, Cleveland Guardians and Houston Astros are joined by wild-card entrants the New York Yankees, Boston Red Sox and Chicago White Sox.
Meanwhile in the National League, the Milwaukee Brewers, Los Angeles Dodgers and Atlanta Braves lead the way, along with the San Diego Padres, Chicago Cubs and Philadelphia Phillies as wild-card teams.
There are plenty of storylines to follow this October. The Dodgers are looking for their third World Series victory in a row. The Brewers and Rays, sporting the best records
in their respective leagues during the regular season, are still chasing their first championship. There also several storied franchises with extensive postseason successes (and heartbreaks).
