For the first time since the World Cup, the U.S. men's national team is set to play competitive matches.
On Wednesday, Nov. 4, head coach Mauricio Pochettino named a 25-player roster for the team's two-leg Concacaf Nations League quarterfinal with Haiti.
The first leg will take place on Nov. 14 at Nu Stadium in Miami, with the second leg set for TQL Stadium in Cincinnati on Nov. 17.
Pochettino has brought back a number of the new faces that starred in the four-match fall window, which saw the USMNT win all four of its first games after the World Cup.
But there is also room for a return for some of the team's mainstays, who will look to quickly form bonds with the young players on the roster.
Here are three takeaways from the USMNT's November roster.
Cavan Sullivan, Julian Hall earn another USMNT chance
Pochettino gave 13 players their first cap in the last window, many of whom looked ready for the big stage.
That has been reflected in the November roster, with eight of those debutants returning: Mathis Albert, Justin Ellis, Julian Hall, Diego Kochen, Adri Mehmeti, Neil Pierre, Brian Schwake and Cavan Sullivan.
Sullivan's return was expected, with the teenage star becoming the the youngest USMNT goalscorer ever by scoring in a win over Mexico.
Hall's inclusion is deserved after he scored in each of his first three caps, then carried that form into MLS with the Red Bulls. The 18-year-old's call-up is also significant for his international future. If he appears in either game, Hall will be cap-tied to the USMNT and no longer eligible for Poland.
Pochettino brought in two new faces for this camp as well: Paderborn midfielder Santiago Castañeda, who is also eligible for Colombia and Nashville SC fullback Reed Baker-Whiting, who has impressed for the MLS Supporters' Shield winners this year.
Pulisic, Balogun among mainstays to return
Unsurprisingly, there is also room for some of the USMNT's core pieces who were absent from the most recent roster.
The headliner is Christian Pulisic, who was omitted last time for reasons Pochettino did not want to elaborate on. But the AC Milan star was always likely to return, and he's now back in form for his club with three goals in his last six games.
After a tumultuous summer featuring controversy over his World Cup red card and a failed move to Everton, Folarin Balogun is also back having just scored his first goal since the World Cup.
Weston McKennie, who missed the most recent roster with an injury, has also returned after overcoming a minor injury concern with Juventus.

Bryan Reynolds sees persistence pay off
Perhaps the feel-good story of this roster is Rennes fullback Bryan Reynolds, who is back with the USMNT for the first time since the 2023 Gold Cup.
Reynolds moved to Italian giant Roma in 2021 from FC Dallas, but found playing time hard to come by under Jose Mourinho.
The one-time top prospect took the long way back to prominence, playing several seasons in Belgium with small clubs Kortrijk and Westerlo. Finally, he earned a move back to a top-five league this summer when he joined Ligue 1 side Rennes.
Reynolds has quickly become a key figure for Rennes, which sits fifth in the French table. The fullback leads the team with three assists in all competitions, earning another shot with the USMNT.
