SAN FRANCISCO — The Golden State Valkyries championship parade for their WNBA Finals victory is being held Wednesday, Nov. 4.
The route will travel along The Embarcadero, starting at the Ferry Building near Mission Street and ending at King and 2nd Street.
“We are the Bay’s team, from our practice facility in Oakland to our home court in San Francisco and everywhere in between,” Golden State Valkyries President Jess Smith said in a statement. “Our fans have been with us since day one. They sold out every game, traveled with us and made Ballhalla one of the best environments in sports. This parade is our chance to celebrate this championship with all of them.”
Valkyries players, coaches and staff, plus the mayors of Oakland, Barbara Lee, and San
Francisco, Daniel Lurie, will be part of the parade along with Bay Area icons and legends. Gabby Williams, the 2026 WNBA Finals MVP, will bang the GSV drum alongside Lurie to start the parade in a nod to the tradition that kicks off every game at the Chase Center, aka Ballhalla.
“All season long, our fans have proven over and over again why they’re the best in the world,” Valkyries coach Natalie Nakase said. “I can’t even express how amazing it was to finish off this Finals series in front of them in Ballhalla, to celebrate everything we’ve poured into each other to become champions. This is as much theirs as it is ours. We can’t wait to bring the 2026 WNBA Championship Trophy to them and celebrate what we’ve accomplished together.”
