Mississippi State'soffense looked out of sorts last week against LSU without Kamario Taylor, as the Bulldogs' offense was shut out for the first time in six seasons.
Will the Bulldogs get some help with their star quarterback back under center in Week 8 against Oklahoma?
Initial signs from Wednesday's SEC player availability report signal ... maybe. Taylor was listed as questionable for the Bulldogs' SEC matchup against the Sooners as he continues to recover from an undisclosed injury.
Taylor has been one of the top quarterbacks in the SEC this season, though his hot start cooled off just before exiting Mississippi State's loss to Alabama on Oct. 3
with an injury. He ranks sixth in the SEC in passing yards (1,450) and leads the conference in touchdown passes (17).
The Bulldogs host the Sooners at 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday at Davis Wade Stadium in Starkville, Mississippi.

Kamario Taylor injury update
Taylor was listed as questionable on Mississippi State's initial SEC player availability report on Wednesday for Saturday's game vs. Oklahoma.
Mississippi State coach Jeff Lebby did not provide much context or clarity on Taylor's status against the Sooners when he met with reporters on Monday, Oct. 19 for his first media availability of the week.
"The injury report will continue to speak to that," Lebby said on Oct. 19. "I talked about it in the post-game (news conference vs LSU). He didn't wake up yesterday morning and was healed. It's going to be day-to-day. He's got a lot of work to do, but we'll see where we end up."
Taylor was downgraded to out ahead of last Saturday's game against LSU due to an undisclosed injury. Before kickoff, he was seen wearing street clothes and a walking boot on the sideline.
