Kourtney Kardashian Barker's former nanny is shutting down online speculation that Travis Barker was the "client dad" she previously admitted to sleeping with.
Leah Barrs, who previously worked for the
Kardashian family and now stars on Hulu's reality TV series "Million Dollar Nannies," recently revealed on the series that she once had a sexual relationship with a client. The confession sparked a wave of online speculation, even costing Barrs her job, as she was publicly fired on the show following the revelation.
Barrs shut down the suggestion that the "client dad" in question was Barker during her appearance on the Aug. 6 episode of the "Boyfriend Material" podcast hosted by Harry Jowsey.
When Jowsey directly asked whether the client was Barker, Barrs quickly replied, "No,", before adding, "Oh my gosh, no."
The reality TV star went on to explain that the incident happened years before she worked for the Kardashian family. Barrs said she was 22 and had recently moved to Los Angeles at the time, suggesting that the timeline wouldn't add up for the client to be Barker. "I was 22. So that is why it's so crazy," Barrs told Jowsey. "Now I'm 31." She also clarified that the "client dad" was single when the incident happened.
After working for the Kardashians, Barrs joined the cast of "Million Dollar Nannies," which follows the lives of high-end childcare professionals while they navigate their unusual jobs in Ibiza. Her admission on the Hulu series about having a relationship with a client became one of the show's most talked-about moments and fueled widespread dialogue online.
"It was my own fault," Barrs admitted to Jowsey. "I should have just closed my mouth."
During the podcast, she shared how she managed to land a job with the Kardashians through her church. "They were going to my church. They were friends with my pastor and they were looking for a nanny so he referred me," Barrs said.
When Jowsey asked if Kourtney Kardashian "was the best," Barrs responded saying, "Yeah … well, sorry, I can't really talk about them.”
Kardashian and Barker married in 2022 after becoming engaged the previous year. The couple share one child together and have a blended family with Kardashian's three children from her previous relationship with Scott Disick and Barker's children from his previous marriage to Shanna Moakler.
