There's a little bit of something for everyone on your favorite streaming services this week, from John Cena's action-hero derring-do and Steven Spielberg aliens to Ben Affleck trading his Boston accent for the Spanish language.
Spielberg's theatrical sci-fi thriller "Disclosure Day," which features Emily Blunt, Josh O'Connor and a conspiracy plot involving extraterrestrials, is finally on Peacock. Cena headlines "Matchbox: The Movie" on Apple TV, the latest Mattel toy brand (following Barbie and He-Man) to score a movie. And Affleck directs and stars as a stressed-out LA mayoral
candidate in the kidnapping thriller "Animals" on Netflix, which also premieres a documentary about Martin Mull.
Here are 10 new and notable movies you can stream right now:
'Animals'

Ben Affleck directs and stars in the intense thriller as LA mayoral candidate Mark Kimball, whose son is kidnapped and held for a $7 million ransom. 'The Breadwinner'

Nate Bargatze does a little bit of everything with this family-friendly comedy, producing, co-writing and starring as a modern "Mr. Mom." Nate (Bargatze) is a successful Toyota salesman who spends more time on the home front with his three kids when his wife (Mandy Moore) gets a sweet "Shark Tank" deal, and chaos ensues.

'Disclosure Day'

When it comes to aliens on screen, Steven Spielberg is pretty much king. In the sci-fi thriller, a TV meteorologist (Emily Blunt) and a whistleblower (Josh O'Connor) get embroiled in an 80-year government cover-up of alien existence. Chases ensue and weird extraterrestrial stuff abounds on the way to a thought-provoking climax.

'Evil Dead Burn'

"Evil Dead" movies are usually plenty gory but with a dark sense of humor attached. The latest is just relentlessly brutal. After the death of her abusive husband, Alice (Souheila Yacoub) reunites with estranged in-laws to mourn, and things go even more south when a demon begins possessing and killing them in search of an ancient dagger.

'The Love Hypothesis'

Based on Ali Hazelwood's best-selling novel, the rom-com centers on a brilliant doctoral candidate (Lili Reinhart) and a dreaded biology professor (Tom Bateman) – nicknamed "Dr. Evil" by students – who fake a relationship to help each other out. Naturally, they catch feelings for each other but not without a good helping of emotional drama.

'Matchbox: The Movie'

If you didn't know already that Matchbox was a brand of toy cars, it's hammered in your head by this action comedy. The death of an old friend brings a CIA agent (John Cena) home to reunite with his childhood pals, and they all get caught up in a globetrotting mission to keep a stolen nuclear warhead out of the wrong hands.

'Soulma8e'
Think of this erotic robo-thriller as a more adult version of "M3GAN." After the death of his wife, engineer David (David Rysdahl) uses a high-tech AI sexbot named Sara (Lily Sullivan) for companionship. He fiddles with her programming to make her more "human," leading her to be murderously obsessed with him.

'Tyler Perry's Doing Life'

Tyler Perry's latest drama stars Jay Reeves as Carousel, an incarcerated man who saves pregnant security guard Anika (Naomi Baker) during a violent prison riot. 'Who Is Martin Mull?'

The touching documentary is a loving ode to two major talents: Martin Mull, the beloved comedian/musician/actor/painter, and director Bob Saget, who died four years into the making of the film. It chronicles Mull's many artistic lives with old friends (and fans) like Steve Martin, Tom Waits and David Alan Grier paying tribute.

'V/H/S/Mixtape'

The latest Halloween-ready installment of the horror anthology franchise centers on themes of music and sound, not to mention a bunch of blood and guts.
