Oreo fans may soon notice some new flavors when they stroll down the cookie aisle.
The cookie brand revealed exclusively to USA TODAY on Aug. 13 that it is launching three new limited-edition cookie flavors at once and letting fans vote for their favorite one. The winning flavor will be brought back in 2027, the company said in a news release.
The three new flavors include:
- Oreo Banana Pudding Cookies: Feature layers of sweet banana and vanilla pudding in a deliciously delectable dual-layered creme, sandwiched between vanilla wafer cookies.
- Oreo Deep Fried Cookies: Feature iconic golden-fried, doughy flavor baked into the cookie itself with fried dough-flavored cookies wrapping layers of dark chocolate and fried dough-flavored creme.
- Oreo Chicken & Waffles Cookies: Feature a signature waffle texture and embossment and dual-layered creme, both infused with sweet and savory flavor notes for a fried chicken and maple syrup flavor in every bite.
The cookies were first made available for presale at Oreo.com/UnwrapTheCollab and were also shoppable on TikTok Shop beginning Aug. 17. Beginning Aug. 24, however, the flavors are available at grocery and retail stores for a limited time, while supplies last.

Banana Pudding, Deep Fried and Chicken & Waffles, we are giving our community true agency to help decide the future of our product lineup," said Matt Foley, vice president of Oreo, in the news release. "We know our fans are incredibly passionate about their favorite flavors, and we can’t wait to see which of these cookies they choose to bring back in 2027."
How to vote for your favorite flavor
To cast your vote for your favorite flavor, customers can scan the QR code on any of the three limited-edition packs or visit Oreo.com/twist-lick-vote.
The company says the voting window will remain open from Aug. 17 through Oct. 12, and presale pack and TikTok Shop recipients will receive exclusive early access to taste each flavor.
As a reward, every eligible vote submitted automatically enters customers into a sweepstakes for a chance to win a year’s supply of original Oreo cookies, the company said in the news release, adding that your vote will not affect your entry and there is a limit of one entry per person.
The winning flavor will be crowned on Oct. 13 and will join the 2027 Oreo cookie lineup for a limited time.
