One of the most loaded slates of the 2026 college football season has come and gone.
Week 10 was expected to be one of the most consequential of the season, with results that will shape conference title and College Football Playoff races, with seven games between teams ranked in the top 25 of the US LBM Coaches Poll.
For the most part, it delivered.
In the highest-profile matchup of the day, No. 6 Notre Dame held off No. 1 Miami (sans superstar wideout Malachi Toney), 31-24, at Notre Dame Stadium in a game that had shades of the iconic 1988 matchup between the programs in the same venue, the so-called "Catholics vs. Convicts" game.
The Hurricanes' loss leaves
just two remaining unbeaten teams, one of which, No. 4 Utah, picked up a momentous win of its own, snapping a three-game losing streak in the Holy War with a 28-20 victory against No. 8 BYU thanks to four interceptions from Cougars quarterback Bear Bachmeier.
Elsewhere, Arch Manning and No. 11 Texas pulled away from No. 19 Missouri, 34-20; No. 2 Georgia thumped No. 12 Mississippi, 42-7; No. 16 Tennessee humbled an old rival in No. 7 Kentucky, 34-6; No. 9 Alabama marched into Death Valley to beat Lane Kiffin and rival No. 15 LSU, 31-13; No. 20 Iowa beat No. 23 Northwester, 24-10, without Wildcats quarterback Aidan Chiles; and No. 5 UCLA improved to 9-0 with a 34-20 win at Minnesota.
With that, here's a look at how those games and more impacted the latest US LBM Coaches Poll and AP Top 25 after Week 10:
