Everyone knows Texas' rich high school football history, and seemingly every year, the Lone Star State produces some of the best players in the country.
This year is no different, and with the season officially
kicking off in the state, the standout senior and junior prospects from all corners of the state finally got a chance to shine after a seemingly endless summer full of practices.
Before the season kicked off, USA TODAY Sports updated its composite rankings for the 2027 and 2028 recruiting classes. The composite is based on an average from recruiting industry leaders.
Texas was heavily featured with numerous standouts for both classes.
