Will Manchester City take an opportunity to rotate its squad against Ipswich Town on Saturday, Oct. 17?
City boss Enzo Maresca has said he'll have to rest his stars at some point amid a busy period that sees Saturday's game sandwiched between two midweek Champions League fixtures.
Man City lost its first game of the season against Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday, but carries a perfect 6-0-0 Premier League record into Saturday's game against Ipswich.
Here is how Man City could line up against the Tractor Boys:
Manchester City predicted lineup vs. Ipswich
- Goalkeeper: Donnarumma
- Defense: Nunes, Dias, Guehi, O’Reilly
- Midfield: Bouaddi, Fernandez
- Attacking midfield: Semenyo, Cherki, Doku
- Forward: Haaland
Matheus Nunes could return to the lineup at right back after a difficult evening for Abdukodir Khusanov against PSG. Nico O’Reilly may also start at left back, replacing Joško Gvardiol.
Ayyoub Bouaddi was impressive after coming on as a halftime
sub against PSG, and he could get a chance to start in midfield next to Enzo Fernandez.
Erling Haaland may need a break at some point, but his scoring form makes him hard to remove from the lineup.

Will Erling Haaland start vs. Ipswich?
With City enjoying a clean bill of health, the biggest question surrounding Saturday's game may surround whether superstar forward Haaland is rested.
Speaking at his pre-game press conference on Friday, Oct. 16, Maresca admitted that Haaland, as well as others, will have to be given a rest in the near future.
“At some point we probably need to give him rest, some days off,” the City boss said of Haaland.
“We are thinking about this not just with Erling because we have players, unfortunately or fortunately, they are playing all the games with us and all the games with the international teams.
“Elliot (Anderson), Enzo (Fernandez), Marc (Guehi), Erling, Rúben (Dias) – so at some point we probably need to give them some rest.”
