Witney Carson will have a plus one when she returns to the "Dancing with the Stars" ballroom this fall – and it won't just be her new comedian partner.
The pro dancer announced on Aug. 17 that she is pregnant with her third child. She also revealed on "Good Morning America" that she will be partnered with Guillermo Rodriguez on the reality competition's upcoming season.
Carson, 32, is the show's reigning champion after taking home the Mirrorball trophy with partner Robert Irwin last season. She will compete on Season 35 this fall with Rodriguez, 55, a longtime staple of "Jimmy Kimmel Live."
Herself a longtime "DWTS" fixture, Carson won her first Mirrorball on Season 19 alongside then-partner Alfonso Ribeiro, who is now the show's host.
She and her
husband, Carson McAllister, already have two sons together: Leo, 5, and Jet, 3.

Carson revealed on "Good Morning America" that she will be paired with Rodriguez on the upcoming season.
Known as comedian Jimmy Kimmel's sidekick on his eponymous late-night show, Rodriguez was announced as a star on "Dancing with the Stars" Season 35 in June.
Rodriguez joined Kimmel's talk show in 2003 and has appeared in many roles since, from being a security guard in the show's parking lot to serving as a correspondent on the Oscars red carpet. He is now featured alongside Kimmel every night and regularly participates in comedy bits.
In addition to Rodriguez, three other contestants for the upcoming season have been revealed: "Summer House" star Ciara Miller, "Love Island" favorite Maura Higgins and Savannah Bananas player Jackson Olson.

Also on Aug. 17, Carson announced her third pregnancy in an Instagram post.
The black-and-white video features Carson, her husband and their two sons posing in a photo booth with her ultrasound photos.
"We’ve been keeping a secret… a new addition to the McAllister gang coming soon! We are so grateful and overjoyed to be growing our family," she captioned the post.
Carson and McAllister married on New Year's Day 2016 in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA TODAY previously reported.
What to know about 'Dancing with the Stars' Season 35
"Dancing with the Stars" Season 35 will have a two-night premiere on Tuesday, Sept. 15 and Wednesday, Sept. 16.
The show will be available to watch live on ABC and Disney+ at 8 p.m., and streaming the next day on Hulu.
In addition to Rodriguez, Miller, Higgins and Olson, the full cast of stars, plus their pro partners, will be announced on "Good Morning America" on Sept. 2.
