The Professional Women’s Hockey League unveiled home and away jerseys for its expansion teams in Detroit, Hamilton, Las Vegas and San Jose on Thursday, Oct. 8.
As has been the case with all eight PWHL teams in their debut season, each jersey features the city’s name stitched diagonally across the front. Before the 2026-27 season begins, team names and logos will be revealed.
"Unveiling these jerseys is another exciting milestone for our four new teams and the fans who have embraced them from Day 1," said Amy Scheer, PWHL executive vice president of business operations. "Detroit, Hamilton, Las Vegas and San Jose are each building their own connection with their communities, and these jerseys give fans another way to show their pride."

PWHL Detroit
Detroit’s black home jersey with silver metallic accents reflects the city’s automotive history, innovative and industrial spirit. The color trio of white, silver and red stripes are a callback to Detroit's 313 area code, with red as a nod to Hockeytown, home of the NHL's Red Wings.
PWHL Hamilton
Hamilton’s gold, deep red, burnt orange and cream color palette calls back to the city’s steel industry while paying homage to the area’s deep sports history. The gold primary home jerseys with burnt orange and deep red accents evoke the colors of forging and rusted steel, while calling back to the uniforms worn by the CFL's Hamilton Tiger-Cats and the former Hamilton Bulldogs (OHL) and Hamilton Tigers (NHL).
PWHL Las Vegas
The green, gold and navy color palette of Las Vegas is inspired by the outdoors in Southern Nevada. The primary green home jerseys reflects the desert valley, while a custom gold accent evokes the sparkle of the desert sun. Navy stripes provide a contrast and nod to the desert at night.
PWHL San Jose
San Jose’s mandarin orange home jerseys with sky blue accents capture the Bay Area’s energy and the beauty of California. The mandarin orange color is a nod to the region’s orange groves and San Jose’s flag.
