On a night where the result was never really in doubt for Liberty Christian (TX), the Warriors' senior leader and five-star prospect provided the moment of the night.
Cooper Witten, a five-star Oklahoma linebacker commit and the son of former Dallas Cowboys tight end Jason Witten, showed why he lives up to his five-star hype with a block kicked that he himself returned for six.
The play came late in the third quarter as Parish Episcopal (TX) lined up to kick a short field goal while trailing 41-7 on Oct. 9. Witten wasn't having any of that.
The future Sooner exploded off of the line, coming in untouched to block the field goal attempt. He then had the presence of mind to scoop the ball and proceeded to return it untouched for an 85-yard touchdown.

Liberty Christian would go on to win the game 55-7, improving their record to 5-2 on the year. That was far from the only play Witten made on the night.
He also caught a pair of passes for 52 yards and a touchdown, upping his receiving touchdown total to five on the season and 265 yards on 13 receptions. Witten also upped his season total on tackles to 54 in the win.
As he continues to inch closer to the end of his senior season, Witten is ranked as one of the top prospects in the 2027 class. The USA TODAY Sports composite ranking lists him as the No. 28 overall player in the class, the No. 4 player in Texas and the No. 2 linebacker prospect.
Witten and the Warriors will have the weekend to celebrate their fourth straight win before turning their attention to next week's road trip to John Paul II.
