After three weeks of grueling competition, the grand finale of the 2026 Tour de France has arrived. All eyes are on Tadej Pogacar, who stands on the verge of capturing his historic fifth title.
This year’s Tour de France has taken riders on a journey, starting in Barcelona, Spain, and spanning over 3,321.2 kilometers with a staggering 54,450 meters of elevation gain. The peloton has battled across mountain ranges, rolling countryside, and historic cities, all culminating in the Champs-Élysées in Paris, France.
Heading into the final stage, Pogacar commands a seven-minute lead, virtually guaranteeing his fifth Tour de France crown. If he succeeds, he will join an elite group as only the fifth cyclist in history to achieve five Tour victories.

captured his maiden title at just 21 years old in 2020, defended it the following year, and added back-to-back triumphs in 2024 and 2025.
The 2026 Tour de France will conclude with a modified, shortened route from Thoiry (Yvelines) to Paris. The change comes as a precaution in response to ongoing European wildfires.
