It's a "Full House" at the fan-filled convention 90s Con.
"Full House" cast members John Stamos, Dave Coulierand Lori Loughlin reunited with Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin, Andrea Barber and Scott Weinger on Sunday, Oct. 18, nearly four decades after the sitcom premiered.
During their Hartford, Connecticut, panel discussion – moderated by People magazine editor Breanne L. Heldman – the cast paid tribute to Bob Saget, who played America's treasured TV dad Danny Tanner. Coulier, who brought his infamous impressions to the 90s Con stage, jokingly called Saget his "Jewish sister," while Stamos said they brought a life-sized photo of the star so fans could take a full cast photo.
"Bob used to always say we should do the 'Fullest House,' and he would
be an urn on the fireplace," Stamos said.
The "America's Funniest Home Video" host died in Jan. 2022 from head trauma at age 65. On the day he died, the comedian wrapped a Jacksonville, Florida, stop on his "I Don't Do Negative" tour. He celebrated the two-hour comedy set on social media, writing: "I’m back in comedy like I was when I was 26."
Sweetin attributes her sense of humor to the hours spent with the late comedian.
"Bob is just glad we're all still talking about him," Sweetin added. "Bob just loves to know that he's still the main topic of conversation in the best of ways."
In one story, she recalled sitting on the speakers and flashing Saget's "five-minute light" after sneaking into a Laugh Factory set, and in another breath, Sweetin recounted an alleged shooting that shattered a window of their limousine after a Janet Jackson concert.
"We were sitting in the car, and then the window exploded," Sweetin recalled as Weinger backed her story. "We had to wait for two station wagon taxis, because this is pre-Uber, to come and get us. We were late, and then Bob had to drive me home and explain to my mom what happened. So, between that and the Laugh Factory, Bob was not always my mom's favorite."
Were Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen at 90s Con 'Full House' reunion?
Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen didn't attend the fashion convention, though the cast brought them there in spirit.
Lori Loughlin reflected on the twins' early curiosity as she chewed gum on set, while Sweetin remembered taking them to the Disney parks. Since doubling as the youngest daughter, Michelle, on "Full House," the Olsen twins have led a private life while simultaneously scaling the luxury apparel brand The Row, which they launched in 2005.
"My favorite memory was when I learned that they became billionaires," Coulier said. "Wow, our girls. So sweet."
Dave Coulier reflects on cancer battle, shares side effects from radiation
Coulier, who played Danny Tanner's good friend Joey, received applause after a fan congratulated him on beating cancer not once but twice.
In December, Coulier announced his tongue cancer diagnosis, and three months later shared he was in remission. During cancer treatment, Coulier lost 45 pounds and was unable to eat solid foods, he shared via social media in May. Along with changes to his diet, the treatment affected his ability to speak, which he described as "side effects of extensive radiation that I went through for carcinoma in my throat."
"Now, I can sound like Chef from 'South Park,'" Coulier told audiences at the convention.
Medical professionals previously diagnosed Coulier with lymphoma in 2024, and he underwent chemotherapy treatments through the beginning of 2025. After doctors gave Coulier a clean bill of health in March, six months later, doctors identified a second cancer diagnosis, p16 squamous cell carcinoma, or tongue cancer.
"It affects your vocal cords, but so many of you have wished me well and said you were praying and sending me positive vibes, and it worked. So thank you," he added.
In response to the same fan's question about the lack of diversity on the family sitcom, cast members referenced Little Richard's guest appearance and former NBA player Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, who gave Stamos' Jesse shooting pointers in the eighth season.
"Basically he's saying we were a little pale," Sweetin quipped, while adding she wished Boyz II Men had guest-starred on the show.

'Full House' star John Stamos receives Bob Saget Legacy Award
Cast members Sweetin, Bure, Loughlin and Stamos reunited for a Scleroderma Research Foundation fundraising event Oct. 13. Stamos accepted the "Bob Saget Legacy Award," named for the "Full House" star's advocacy work in scleroderma research. His sister Gay Saget died from the autoimmune disease.
And in August, Loughlin returned to Instagram, seven years after her college admissions bribery scandal. The post featured a coterie of her "Full House" cast, as Loughlin temporarily reprised her role as Rebecca Donaldson.
The Jeff Franklin-created sitcom followed Saget's widowed father as he raised daughters D.J. (Bure), Stephanie (Sweetin) and Michelle (Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen) with help from rock musician Jesse (Stamos) and stand-up comic Joey (Coulier). Loughlin signed on for Season 2, cohosting a morning broadcast with Saget's Danny.
In its infancy, the ABC show, which ran from 1987 to 1995, frequently ranked among TV's top 20 prime-time shows and helped shape the network's "TGIF" segment. By the eighth and final season, the show became too expensive, with a $1.3 million budget per episode, and other TV contenders vied for the 8 p.m. time slot. Despite it all, fans still return to the classic sitcom year after year.
