Channing Tatum is dismissing all rumors of a burner account on Instagram, saying the speculations are "(expletive) hilarious."
"Yo i truly can’t believe yall think this is what I’m doing with my free time," Tatum, 46, wrote in a Monday, Sept. 21 Instagram story. "Also why would I follow a burner account if I didn’t want people to connect me to it?"
He added: "Wtf come on. But if I really need to say it, I only have one IG account @channingtatum."
Rumors around Tatum operating a burner account came to light after the Instagram handle @bidness_nonya was spotted posting shady comments about Tatum's ex-fiancé, Zoë Kravitz, and Harry Styles, with whom she has been romantically linked to since 2025. The account reportedly had one follower which was Tatum,
further fueling speculations.
However, pop culture commentator Stephanie Tleiji's "thorough investigation of the evidence" determined the account was likely a Tatum fan account which has since changed hands. Tleiji noted the account had left comments about a number of topics, and not just Kravitz and Styles, and "literally told a follower, 'I’m not him.'"
Tatum and Kravitz confirmed their engagement in 2023 but split before they could tie the knot. In 2025, she told Elle that she cares for Tatum "very much" and feels "so grateful that we got to go on that journey together" after making their movie "Blink Twice," which she directed and he starred in.

While Tatum may not have been behind the account, he did post a cryptic message after reports of Kravitz's engagement to Styles made the headlines.
"My brain and heart divorced / a decade ago / about who was to blame about how big of a mess I have become / Eventually, they couldn't be in the same room together," Tatum had posted on his Instagram Stories.
Kravitz and Styles have not publicly confirmed their engagement, but People reported in April that the couple has indeed put a ring on it and have shared the news with only "a small circle" of friends and loved ones.
