SAN DIEGO — Milwaukee Brewers catcher William Contreras cut into the San Diego Padres' lead Tuesday with a solo home run during the fourth inning of Game 3 of the NLDS.
Contreras slowly trotted around the bases, even stopping briefly to celebrate, before crossing home plate at Petco Park.
The home run served as a quick response to the Padres, who scored a pair of runs in the bottom of the third inning.
