Anybody seen Joe Rogan?
At UFC 333 in Abu Dhabi, Daniel Cormier is handling the post-fight interviews, and he’s doing it skillfully. But no one exhibits the energy of Rogan, who might be sitting on his living room couch during the bouts today.
Rogan, the UFC fan favorite, does not work the UFC’s international events.
Paul Felder, a former MMA fighter, is filling in for Rogan on the UFC’s commentary team that features Jon Anik and Cormier during the 14-fight card in the capital of the United Arab Emirates.
Joe Rogan's UFC history
Rogan, 59, started working for the UFC’s broadcast in 1997 and, with his energetic delivery, has become as much of a star as many of the fighters.
According to Sports Illustrated, Rogan quit after two years because his salary did not cover travel
costs. The UFC clearly boosted his salary, and money does not seem to be a problem for the man whose podcast, "The Joe Rogan Experience," is one of the world’s most popular.
He’s worth $300 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth.
As much as stature goes, Cormier, the former UFC heavyweight champion, stands 5-11.
Rogan is 5-8 and tips the scales at about 200 pounds.
