The 2026 Solheim Cup begins on Friday, Sept. 11, and the team competition pitting the best women golfers from the United States against their counterparts from Europe is starting with a marquee matchup between two of the sport's biggest stars.
Nelly Korda and Charley Hull have been paired against one another as part of the first tee time when Friday morning foursomes get underway at Bernardus Golf in The Netherlands. Korda, currently No. 1 in the world golf rankings, will team with Allisen Corpuz for the Americans, while Hull is with fellow England native Lottie Woad.
Korda, Hull and Woad are the three highest-ranked golfers participating in this year's Solheim Cup, which will feature a four-ball format on Friday afternoon. Korda and Corpuz are 4-0
in foursomes over the past two Solheim Cups.
There are four pairings for each team in foursomes and four-ball. The format will repeat on Saturday before wrapping up with singles matches on Sunday. This is the 20th edition of the Solheim Cup, with the United States having won the most recent competition at Robert Trent Jones Golf Club in Gainesville, Virginia in 2024.
