For a fourth straight week, there is no movement at the top of the Midwest Region rankings.
After flipping the No. 1 spot four times in six weeks in the 2026 high school football season, Brownsburg (IN) remains the top team in USA TODAY Sports' Midwest rankings, according to the latest USA TODAY Sports Week Super 25 rankings.
The Bulldogs pushed their winning streak to 26 games with a dominant win over rival Zionville (IN) on Friday, Oct. 2.
Here are USA TODAY Sports' Week 8 Midwest Region Super 15 rankings.
1. Brownsburg (IN)
Record: 7-0
Next game: Friday, Oct. 9, vs. Noblesville (IN), 7 p.m. ET
Brownsburg has found its home as the No. 1 team in the rankings for the fourth straight week. In fact, it would be an upset if the Bulldogs are knocked off anytime soon. They
are coming off a 38-3 road win over Zionville, which pushed their winning streak to 26 straight.
2. Massillon (OH)
Record: 6-0
Next game: Friday, Oct. 9, vs. Cornerstone Christian (TX), 7 p.m. ET
The Tigers were off last week following a forfeit win over Farrell (PA). They are coming off a 31-8 win the week prior when they took the field over Canada's Clarkson Football North.
3. Trinity (Louisville, KY)
Record: 6-1
Next game: Friday, Oct. 9, vs. Ballard (KY), 7:30 p.m. ET
Following its lone loss of the season, Trinity has found its groove with three straight wins by a combined 119-0. The Shamrocks' most recent one was a 41-0 victory over St. Xavier (Cincinnati).
4. East St. Louis (IL)
Record: 6-1
Next game: Friday, Oct. 9, vs. Alton (IL), 7 p.m. ET
The Flyers are peaking. With the 35-0 win over Edwardsville last week, East St. Louis has outscored its last three opponents 160-6.
5. Bishop Watterson (OH)
Record: 6-0
Next game: Friday, Oct. 9, at Bishop Hartley (OH), 7 p.m. ET
Bishop Watterson earned a well-deserved open week after its third shutout of the season with a dominant 32-0 win over St. Francis DeSales on Friday, Sept. 25.
6. Detroit Catholic Central (Novi, MI)
Record: 5-0
Next game: Friday, Oct. 9, at St. Mary’s Prep (MI), 7 p.m. ET
Despite losing quarterback Duke Banta to an ankle injury, Detroit Catholic Central earned a 31-12 win over Toledo Central on Saturday, Oct. 3. According to The Detroit News — part of the USA TODAY Network — Banta was taken to the hospital for X-rays. It's unclear how long he could be out.
7. Cass Tech (Detroit, MI)
Record: 6-0
Next game: Friday, Oct. 9, at Renaissance (MI), 5 p.m. ET
Cass Tech scored four touchdowns on four consecutive snaps in the first half on Friday, Oct. 2, vs. Detroit Western International to earn a 65-0 win. The Technicians held a 42-0 halftime lead, which triggered a running clock for the entire second half.
8. St. Edward (Lakewood, OH)
Record: 6-1
Next game: Friday, Oct. 9, vs. Clarkson Football North (Canada), 7 p.m. ET
St. Edward defeated St. Ignatius 31-14 on Friday, Oct. 2, for its first victory of the season that was by a double-digit margin. Langston Lucas connected with Caleb Hall for a 77-yard touchdown on the second play from scrimmage to set the tone.
9. Big Walnut (Sunbury, OH)
Record: 7-0
Next game: Friday, Oct. 9, at Westerville North (OH), 7 p.m. ET
For the second straight week, Big Walnut escaped by a touchdown in a 35-28 win over Worthington Kilbourne. At least this one did not require overtime. Running back Nolan Buirley had a monster game with 288 yards rushing and three scores.
10. Millard South (Omaha, NE)
Record: 6-0
Next game: Friday, Oct. 9, at Westview (NE), 7 p.m. CT
It was once again the Trae Taylor show on Friday, Oct. 2. The Nebraska commit threw for 345 yards and five touchdowns and ran in for another score in the 59-0 win over Millard West.
11. Anderson (Cincinnati, OH)
Record: 6-1
Next game: Friday, Oct. 9, at Walnut Hills (OH), 7 p.m. ET
The Raptors erupted for 59 first-half points in a dominant 66-21 blowout victory over Turpin on Friday, Oct. 2. Anderson has bounced back with six straight victories following a season-opening 59-13 loss to Trinity (KY).
12. Warren Central (Indianapolis, IN)
Record: 7-0
Next game: Friday, Oct. 9, vs. Carmel (IN), 7 p.m. ET
The Warriors beat Lawrence North 53-37 to move to 7-0 behind 379 rushing yards and 6 touchdowns from Keyon Thomas, but the postgame story centered around a shooting in the parking lot.
13. Princeton (Cincinnati, OH)
Record: 7-0
Next game: Friday, Oct. 9, at Hamilton (OH), 7 p.m. ET
Princeton picked up its first shutout of the season with a 47-0 win over Mason on Friday, Oct. 2. The Vikings have now allowed opponents to just 12.8 points and 195.3 total yards per game, while the offense is humming to the tune of 40.9 points per game.
14. Loyola Academy (Wilmette)
Record: 7-0
Next game: Friday, Oct. 9, at IC Catholic Prep (IL), 7:30 p.m. ET
The Ramblers maintained their perfect start with a 38-7 win over Saint Ignatius College Prep on Saturday, Oct. 3. While the Wolfpack struck first on a 65-yard option play for a touchdown, Loyola Academy rattled off the final 38 points to win their winning streak to seven straight games.
15. Christian Academy of Louisville (KY)
Record: 7-0
Next game: Friday, Oct. 9, vs. Central (KY), 7:30 p.m. ET
Welcome Centurions to the Super 15. Christian Academy of Louisville debuts on the list following a 42-0 shutout win over DeSales last weekend. The Centurions are off to a 7-0 start, seeking their seventh state championship since 2016.
