Hockey season hasn't started yet, but lightning is still making an impact in Tampa.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Cleveland Browns were headed down the stretch on Sunday in Week 2 until lightning decided to give everyone a chance to think. Lightning in the area put the game in a delay with just two minutes left in regulation.
Play was suspended a short time after the Browns took a 23-19 lead over the Bucs late in the fourth quarter.
There is no estimated time for the game to resume.

Tampa weather forecast
A special weather statement has been issued by the National Weather Service, which will remain in effect until 4:45 p.m. ET.
The forecast is calling for winds up to 50 mph and the potential for pea-sized hail.
Storms are not expected to last all night,
so the contest between the Bucs and Browns should resume at some point.

It's unclear when the Bucs and Browns will continue their Week 2 contest.
NFL rules state that play will be suspended if there is a lightning strike within 10 miles of the venue. Play cannot resume until there have been 30 minutes without a recorded strike in that radius.
