Bo Nix turned on the jets.
The Denver Broncos quarterback hasn't been running as much this season after a fractured ankle cut his postseason run short a year ago. Coming into Week 7, Nix totaled just 37 rushing yards in his first six games and only hit double digits in two contests.
Nix, who has been criticized for his poor play all season, put the running concerns to rest in the first half against the Arizona Cardinals.
The quarterback stepped up in the pocket and found no one in his zip code, scampering for a 62-yard touchdown without anyone touching him.

The Sunday stroll from No. 10 put the Broncos up 13-6 before halftime. And according to the NFL's
Next Gen Stats, it was a history-making scramble as well.
Bo Nix reached 19.90 mph on his 62-yard scramble TD run, the longest TD on a QB scramble in the Next Gen Stats era (since 2016).

Nix was clocked at 19.90 mph on the run, which was the longest touchdown on a quarterback scramble in the Next Gen Stats era – which began tracking in 2016.
It wasn't until Nix got inside the five yard line that an Arizona defender got within four yards of the Denver signal-caller.
That element to the quarterback's game has been sorely missed by Denver in 2026. The Broncos have struggled to score and move the ball all season, so perhaps the Nix scramble is a sign of things to come. That could open up the passing attack or just give Nix another escape hatch under pressure.
If that becomes the confidence builder that the Broncos were looking for, the run could have a larger impact than just a first half touchdown in Week 7.
