The Milwaukee Brewers won Game 1 of the World Series 3-2. They thought they won 3-1 one batter earlier.
Brewers closer Trevor Megill had gotten into a jam, loading the bases with one out in the top of the ninth inning at Milwaukee's American Family Field. Then he appeared to induce Rays catcher Liam Hicks into a game-ending double play.
Just one problem: the Rays challenged the call and after a lengthy review it was determined that shortstop Cooper Pratt didn't keep his foot on second base as he tried to turn the double play.
That made Junior Caminero safe at second and the score 3-2, as Jorge Mateo had crossed home plate during the failed double play.
Megill and Co. were able to regroup, though. With smoke from premature fireworks seemingly hanging
thick in the air, Megill got Jonny DeLuca to strike out to set off the party proper.

"You have a big range of emotions," longtime Brewers star Christian Yelich said on Fox's postgame show about the overturn. "Big credit to Trev for locking back in and making some big pitches there."
The Brewers lead the World Series 1-0 with Game 2 set for Saturday night.
