U.S. women’s national team defender Emily Fox has signed a new contract with Arsenal.
Fox has become a mainstay for the Gunners since her arrival in January 2024 from the North Carolina Courage.
The right back has made 93 total appearances for Arsenal, scoring three goals.
“I’m so happy to be extending my stay here,” Fox said in an Arsenal news release. “This has felt like home since the moment I joined, and I’m so grateful for the opportunity to continue to represent this club and compete for titles.
"To be a part of Arsenal is to be a part of something bigger, and I feel like I’m in the best place to keep pushing for more.”

Fox has earned plenty of honors both team and individual since moving to north London.
The Virginia
native was integral as Arsenal won the UEFA Women’s Champions League in 2025, beating Barcelona in the final. She also helped the Gunners win the inagural FIFA Women’s Champions Cup in 2026.
Fox has been named in the PFA Women’s Super League Team of the Year in each of her two full campaigns with Arsenal.
The 28-year-old has been capped 78 times by the USWNT, featuring as a mainstay under Emma Hayes. She started all six games at the 2024 Olympics as the U.S. took home the gold medal.
