Another blow for the New York Giants.
Star wide receiver Malik Nabers appeared to injure his shoulder at the end of the first quarter of Monday Night Football against the Los Angeles Rams while trying to catch a jump ball from Jameis Winston. The pass sailed over Nabers' head as he went up to snag it, but LA's Trent McDuffie was right there. Nabers doubled over in pain as he came back down and looked like he grabbed at his right arm.
Nabers stayed on the sideline and was questionable to return with a right shoulder injury, but he checked back in two series later.
It would be huge for Nabers if he avoided a serious injury, as he missed most of last season after tearing his right ACL and meniscus in Week 4 against the Los Angeles Chargers. He had
six catches for 69 yards in his return against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 1's 28-20 win.
Odell Beckham Jr. was also seen warming up on the sideline.
