Last year was a historic one for Georgia high school flag football.
More than 8,500 athletes competed at over 300 high schools across the state with 45 of those schools launching programs for the first time.
This year, that number is expected to grow even more. The Atlanta Falcons and the Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation are partnering to provide grants to every Georgia high school to support existing girls flag football programs or help launch new ones.
And as participation grows, so does the talent.
As we prepare for the season, here are the top 10 flag football teams in Georgia.
