Hailey Bieber is paying homage to Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy.
In an Instagram post shared by Bieber's stylist, Dani Michelle, on Sept. 28, the Rhode founder sported the beige, muted sequin Narciso Rodriguez dress that Bessette-Kennedy wore at her 1996 rehearsal dinner ahead of her wedding to John F. Kennedy Jr.
Michelle explained in on Instagram that the famed plunge-neck dress was pulled from Rodriguez's spring 1997 collection for luxury fashion house Cerruti.
At her wedding on Georgia’s secluded Cumberland Island in September 1996, Bessette-Kennedy wore another Rodriguez creation — a silky bias-cut cowlneck slip dress — that has become one of the most famous wedding dresses of all time.
Similar to Bessette-Kennedy, Bieber is known for her own minimalist,
'90s-inspired style. In July, the model partnered with Gapto launch "The Hailey Jean," inspired by both the effortless attitude of the late '90s and the silhouettes she wears in real life.
"Gap has been a part of my wardrobe since I was a kid, so this came together very organically. 1996 was the year I was born and I get a lot of style inspiration from the '90s because there was something so effortless about that era and the way people wore denim," Bieber said in a July release about the jeans, which were recently announced by the brand to be restocked on Friday, Oct. 2.
But when she isn't in the comfort of her own denim, the model can be seen out in a sleek suit. Shortly after sporting the famous Rodriguez, dress Bieber was snapped in the front row of Saint Laurent's spring 2027 show during Paris Fashion Week in a black pantsuit. Keeping the styling simple, Bieber wore the plunge suit jacket with nothing underneath and styled the ensemble with skinny-framed sunglasses and chocolate pointed-toe pumps.
Bieber was joined in the front row of the French fashion house's gilded gold runway show by stars like Zoe Kravitz, Zoe Saldaña, Rami Malek, Rosé, Post Malone, Amelia Gray, Belmont Cameli and Donatella Versace.
