The Milwaukee Brewers are just nine innings from their first World Series championship and can finish off a sweep of the Tampa Bay Rays with a win on Tuesday, Oct. 27 at Tropicana Field.
Milwaukee won 10-1 in Game 3 after nail-biting victories in the first two games at American Family Field in Wisconsin. The Brewers have tied a Major League Baseball postseason record with eight consecutive in the 2026 playoffs, dating back to the final game of the National League Division Series against the San Diego Padres.
Facing elimination on home turf, Rays manager Kevin Cash’s squad needs a spark from its bats – particularly the struggling heart of the order – and a shutdown performance from the pitching staff to avoid a sweep. MLB's last World Series sweep came
in 2012.
