The Los Angeles Dodgers enter the 2026 Major League Baseball postseason as the favorites to win a third consecutive World Series, while the Milwaukee Brewers – who finished with MLB's best record – have the second-best odds according to BetMGM.
The Dodgers are looking to become the only National League team to ever three-peat and the first MLB team to win three championships in a row since the New York Yankees from 1998-2000. Los Angeles overcame the Milwaukee in last year's NL Championship Series, when the Brewers also had the best regular season record in the majors.
The American League is wide open, with the Tampa Bay Rays and New York Yankees holding the best odds entering the playoffs.
But the Rays will host the winner of the Yankees-Boston Red Sox in the AL Division Series, meaning at least one of them will be gone by the time the ALCS rolls around.
The best-of-three wild card series start on Tuesday, Sept. 29 and the World Series is scheduled to begin on Friday, Oct 23.
