Roll out the blue carpet! The 2026 Emmy Awards are on.
Held at the Peacock Theater in L.A. Live, the 78th ceremony will bring the crème de la crème of television under one roof. Presenters of the night include Zendaya, Keke Palmer, Macaulay Culkin, Odessa A'zion, Alan Cumming and many more.
Grammy-nominated musician Noah Kahan isslated to perform "Bridge Over Troubled Water" for the In Memoriam segment. Also, the 30th and 50th anniversaries of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and "Charlie's Angels," respectively, will be celebrated during the broadcast.

Who is hosting the 2026 Emmy Awards?
The 2026 Emmy Awards will be hostedby "Law and Order: SVU" star
Mariska Hargitay.
"It's my great honor to host the 78th Emmy Awards – in the 100th birthday year of my beloved NBC – and celebrate this extraordinary community of storytellers," Hargitay said in an announcement in July.
Speaking with USA TODAY, Hargitay teased a musical number for the show, adding that it will be "more song than dance." When asked for more details, she remained tight-lipped: "I wouldn't tell you ever."
When are the 2026 Emmy Awards? How to watch
The Emmys will air on NBC and stream on Peacock at 8 p.m. ET/ 5:00 p.m. PT on Monday, Sept. 14.
Several options are available for pre-event coverage, including NBC's red carpet pre-show on TikTok Live at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT. USA TODAY will also be streaming the Emmy Awards red carpet on our YouTube channel, starting at 5 p.m. ET. Other specials:
- "Live From E!: The Emmys" starts at 6 p.m. ET/ 3 p.m. PT until showtime.
- CNN and Variety are also hosting a red carpet special on the CNN website and CNN's app at 5 p.m. ET/ 2 p.m. PT.
Who are the top 2026 Emmy nominees?
Popular HBO Max medical drama "The Pitt" leads with 25 nominations this year. It's followed by "Hacks," also on HBO Max, with 24 nods, and Apple TV's "Widow's Bay" with 19 mentions. Other popular shows nominated:
