The NFL has already hosted a couple of international games to start the 2026 season, but the league will notably be making its return to London in Week 4.
What does that mean? There will be an extra, stand-alone
game in Week 4, as the Indianapolis Colts and Washington Commanders will do battle at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium at 9:30 a.m. ET to open the NFL's Sunday slate.
As a result, the NFL's Sunday afternoon slate will feature just 12 games, marking the lightest one to date. That will be a precursor to the upcoming bye weeks that will also thin the NFL's Sunday slate.
Per usual, Fox and CBS are splitting the rights to the 12 games on the Sunday afternoon slate. This time, the split is uneven, as Fox will carry the rights to five games while CBS will have seven at its disposal.
CBS will also be able to broadcast a game in both the early- and late-afternoon windows. Fox will be limited to showing just one game per region.

Fox's Week 4 coverage will largely focus on two matchups. A majority of the country will see either the Philadelphia Eagles vs. Los Angeles Rams game or the battle between the Dallas Cowboys and Houston Texans.
Meanwhile, CBS is, unsurprisingly, treating the Buffalo Bills vs. New England Patriots game as its marquee matchup of the early window. The later window will see more of a split between the Kansas City Chiefs vs. Las Vegas Raiders contest and the Denver Broncos' battle with the San Francisco 49ers.
Here's a look at which games will be broadcast in each area of the country during Week 4 of the 2026 NFL season.
