Looking to try a new restaurant in the city? Seattle Restaurant Week has options for you.
The culinary scene in Seattle will be on display throughout October as part of this year's Seattle Restaurant Week. From Oct. 18 through Oct. 31, more than 250 restaurants across the region will offer special set-price menus, according to a social media post. Diners will have the choice of $20, $35, $50 and $65 food options that "highlight most exemplary dishes, or chef's picks," according to the organization. Restaurants from Tacoma to Everett will be in on the festivities this time around.
Seattle Restaurant Week is a twice-yearly event celebrated in both spring and fall. This year's spring celebration took place between April 19 and May 2.
This year's fall
event will include a "Give a Meal Passport." The digital pass allows users to check into participating restaurants who are donating meals or funds to local community kitchens. Participants will also be entered to win tickets to the James Beard Foundations' Taste America Seattle event.

This year's SRW features a new Give a Meal Passport, featuring restaurants donating free meals or proceeds to Good Food Kitchens or other community kitchen organizations.
You can sign up for a digital passport online. The pass operates as a mobile website and uses GPS technology to check into participating locations. Here's how to log locations:
- After arriving at a restaurant, select the location profile from the map or list.
- Click the "Check-In" button under the "Things To Do" part of the profile page.
- Click "Check-In" again and validate your location in the app.
Checking into locations automatically enters you into the prize drawing and each restaurant can only be logged once. The more locations you log, the more entries you receive for the prize drawing.
The Seattle Restaurant Week will give away tickets to the James Beard Foundation's Taste America: Seattle event, held on Nov. 1 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Seattle. Drawing for the prize winner will be held on Oct. 29.
