McDonald's is celebrating our Lone Star State with a series of collectible cups as part of a Texas Meal.
The Texas-exclusive meal includes 10 spicy or classic McNuggets, fries and a drink. People can order the meal and get one of seven collectible cups featuring different regions of Texas.
The cups feature designs by Austin artist Avery Orendorf, who paints murals and graphics that highlight the state's diverse culture.
Each of the cups depicts a part of Texas, including:
- Houston: featuring Space City's innovation and energy
- Dallas/Fort Worth features the metroplex's dynamic culture
- San Antonio, featuring the Alamo City's rich heritage
- Austin/Central Texas featuring the capital region's electric character
- West Texas features the rugged beauty of the frontier
- East Texas features the region's natural charm
- Rio Grande Valley/South Texas featuring the border region's vibrant culture.
The meals and cups released on Sept. 1. The promotion marks the return of Spicy Chicken McNuggets and Mighty Hot Sauce.
