Chick-fil-A is entering its chicken-and-waffles era.
The popular fast-food restaurant is offering a new limited-edition menu at its stores that features waffles for the first time in the restaurant's 80-year history, aside from a limited test last year.
“In this year of newstalgia-inspired celebrations, we wanted to bring something unique this fall by reimagining the comforting flavors our guests crave this time of year," Allison Duncan, director of menu and packaging for Chick-fil-A, said in a statement. “Both Chicken & Waffles and S’mores are much-loved classics, and we challenged ourselves to bring those flavors to our menu in a playful and unexpected way."
Duncan added the menu items were well-received in test markets, building excitement for
their wider launch.
With the fall menu hitting stores on Monday, Aug. 24, here's what to know about the new additions.
What's on Chick-fil-A's fall menu?
Chicken, waffles, s'mores and syrup highlight Chick-fil-A's fall menu.
The Chicken & Waffle sandwich, available as both a breakfast and entrée option, features the signature Chick-fil-A filet between two maple-flavored waffles, complemented with three strips of applewood-smoked bacon and honey butter spread, served warm with a side of classic syrup. Customers can customize their sandwich with their preferred filet option − Original, Spicy or Grilled. The breakfast sandwich starts at $4.95, while the entrée starts at $7.59, but prices vary according to location.
The fast-food chain said its newest drop "brings together everything guests love about the sweet-and-savory classic, but with unmistakable Chick-fil-A flavor."
Complementing the sandwiches are two drinks, inspired by one of "America's most beloved treats," including:
- S’mores Milkshake: Chick-fil-A's signature Icedream dessert blended with chocolate shortbread and graham cracker crumbles, marshmallow-flavored syrup and marshmallow-flavored whipped topping.
- S’mores Frosted Coffee: A blend of cold-brewed coffee, marshmallow-flavored syrup and the restaurant's signature Icedream dessert mixed with chocolate shortbread and graham cracker crumbles.

How to get Chick-fil-A's new fall menu
Chick-fil-A's chicken and waffle sandwiches will begin rolling out at locations nationwide Aug. 24 for a limited time.
The sandwiches will be available as breakfast and entrée offerings "to satisfy all-day cravings," Chick-fil-A said.
The breakfast sandwich, with a smaller-sized chicken filet and waffle, will be available during standard breakfast hours from opening until 10:30 a.m., while the entrée option, with a full-sized filet and waffle, will be available from 10:30 a.m. to closing time.
80 years of Chick-fil-A
2026 marks a landmark year for Chick-fil-A, which is celebrating 80 years since the business started cooking.
The Georgia-based fast-food chain kicked off its "Newstalgia" celebrations in January and plans to celebrate its "80-year heritage of quality, service and care" throughout 2026.
The "Newstalgia" campaign serves up "beloved classics alongside fresh new twists, fun guest experiences and moments of surprise and delight, from the new permanent Frosted Sodas and Floats to Classic Cups, merchandise and all-new, retro packaging," Chick-fil-A said.
