The Atlanta Braves are heading to the NLDS and the Philadelphia Phillies are headed home.
It took a full three games, but the Braves ultimately defeated their NL East rival on Thursday 6-2.
Atlanta's reward? The two-time defending World Series champion Los Angeles Dodgers in a best-of-five game National League Division Series.
The NLDS kicks off on Saturday, Oct. 3 in Los Angeles, when the Braves will travel to LA. With 100 wins this season, an insane payroll and back-to-back World Series titles to defend, the Dodgers are a juggernaut of an opponent that will surely make for a dramatic series.
