Olivia Rodrigo’s lyrics may not be about traffic on the I-405, but it sure applies. Good news is that you can get to her inaugural Daisy Chain Fields music festival with minimal driving — and for some folks, potentially none at all.
The music festival, featuring Chappell Roan, Doechii, Garbage and special guests like Stevie Nicks, is in Irvine on Aug. 29.
Metrolink announced that it’s adding three late-night trains so that festivalgoers can get home without having to leave early. Metrolink has routes that span across Southern California, making it a key option for those looking to get to Daisy Chain Fields.
Here’s what you need to know to make your Daisy Chain Fields travel experience smooth.
Daisy Chain Fields music festival ‘most convenient’ option
Metrolink has the Orange County
Line, which runs from Union Station in Los Angeles south to Oceanside. This is the line you can use to get dropped off at the Anaheim Regional Transportation Intermodal Center, or ARTIC.
From there, you can hop on a festival shuttle nearby at the OCVIBE to get to the festival grounds, according to Daisy Chain Fields.

Metrolink Orange County Line: See route
Here’s where the Orange County Line stops at. Depending on how far you are from these stations, you may need to drive and park your car there.

Metrolink’s Inland Empire-Orange County Line is another route you can use to get to Irvine. It won’t get you directly to the festival grounds, so be prepared to take an Uber or taxi service to get to the festival grounds.
The Inland Empire-Orange County line’s stops are:

How to plan out your route, plus other Metrolink options to Anaheim, Irvine
Metrolink operates numerous lines that’ll take you to Union Station in Los Angeles.
Here are two examples:
- If you’re far north in Los Angeles County like Lancaster or Santa Clarita, take the Antelope Valley Line to Union Station, and then catch the Orange County Line to get to Anaheim to take the shuttle, or to Irvine to take a rideshare service to the festival grounds.
- If you’re coming from Claremont or Baldwin Park over in east Los Angeles County, take the San Bernardino Line to Union Station and then catch the Orange County Line to get to Anaheim to take the shuttle, or to Irvine to take a rideshare service to the festival grounds.

Daisy Chain Fields said it’s offering three other shuttle services across UC Irvine that’ll take you to the festival:

What about after Olivia Rodrigo's festival?
Metrolink will operate three special late-night trains to get festivalgoers back home:
- Anaheim to Oceanside: Train 698, departing 11:30 p.m.
- Irvine to Union Station in Los Angeles: Train 699, departing 11:40 p.m.
- Irvine to San Bernardino-Downtown: Train 898, departing 11:30 p.m.
