The self-proclaimed "filet mignon of chicken" may be coming your way by year's end.
Huey Magoo's, a fast-casual restaurant concept founded in Orlando, Florida, in 2004, told USA TODAY it is opening seven new locations by the end of 2026, bringing its total restaurant count to 98. The company said it is aiming to have 115 locations by the end of 2027.
The chain is best known for its chicken tenders, available grilled or hand-breaded, but the menu also includes customizable options such as fresh-made salads, sandwiches and wraps. Handcrafted and regular dips are also available, including a special Magoo's sauce, Spicy Magoo's sauce and regular sauces such as honey mustard, buffalo and barbecue.
According to Huey Magoo's website, the company recently
opened its 91st location in Clermont, Florida. The chain's locations are currently heavily concentrated in Florida and Georgia — Florida is home to 43 locations, and Georgia has 18 locations, with no other state currently having more than six Huey Magoo's locations.

Huey Magoo's told USA TODAY it is opening seven new locations through the end of the year, including:
- Springfield, Missouri – Opening in September
- Independence, Missouri – Opening in October
- Laredo, Texas – Opening in October
- Fayetteville, West Virginia – Opening in November
- St. Petersburg, Florida – Opening in November
- Miami, Florida – Opening in November
- Jupiter, Florida – Opening in November
Huey Magoo's current footprint extends as far north as Ohio, with six locations, and as far west as Nevada, with two locations. The Laredo location will be the company's first in Texas, but the company said it hopes to soon open restaurants in Arkansas, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Kansas, Arizona and Utah.
