Due to some unfortunate weather earlier this week, the 2026 US Open has been forced to make some scheduling changes. But as the old saying goes, "Father Time cannot be stopped, and neither can the US Open."
Why people choose to leave out the second half of that idiom, I've no idea. Alas, it couldn't be truer this year.
Thursday, Sept. 3 was supposed to mark the start of the Round of 32 for the men's and women's brackets at the US Open, but here we are, still waiting on several matches in the Round of 64.
