There will be no 'Sweet Caroline' in New England tonight, because the New York Yankees are headed to the ALDS after completing a wild-card sweep of their rival Boston Red Sox.
After a slow start for both teams, the Yankees lit the scoreboard up in the sixth inning with six runs, including a three-run homer from Cody Bellinger to shut the door on Boston as New York went on to win 9-2.
The ALDS will be full of division rivalries, as the Yankees advance to face the Tampa Bay Rays. The series begins at Tropicana Field on Saturday, Oct. 3.
