The Los Angeles Rams are back on the road after a short week of preparation for a matchup against the Denver Broncos on Sunday, Sept. 27.
The Rams celebrated Aaron Donald's return earlier this week, with a 28-6 win over the Giants on Monday Night Football to conclude Week 2.
It was a bounce-back game in Los Angeles after the Rams stumbled in the season opener against the San Francisco 49ers in Australia.
The game against the Broncos kicks off a challenging stretch that will include games against the Philadelphia Eagles and the Buffalo Bills in the coming weeks.
The Broncos have compiled a 1-1 start to the season after picking up a 20-13 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars at home last week. The Broncos fell short in their season opener on the road
against the Kansas City Chiefs.
The Broncos’ rushing attack has struggled in recent weeks, with running back J.K. Dobbins serving as the leading rusher with just 72 yards on 18 carries in two games played.
The two teams have not played since the Rams earned a 51-14 victory over the Broncos on Christmas Day in 2022.

The Rams managed to limit their opponent from having much production out of the backfield and are poised to do it again this week. It will be up to Coach Sean Payton and the Broncos to produce a game plan that will allow Dobbins to produce and help open up the passing game. It will take a full four-quarter effort from quarterback Bo Nix and the Broncos to keep the game close.
Pat Surtain II and Denver’s defense must also limit the Rams’ offense from a fast start.
The Rams are coming off a strong passing performance behind the efforts of quarterback Matthew Stafford and wide receiver Davante Adams. Adams stepped up and produced eight catches for 195 yards and two touchdowns for the Rams’ home opener. Wide receiver Puka Nacua was sidelined for the Week 2 matchup and is unlikely to play on the road in Week 3.
