The flavor of fall is almost back at Dunkin'.
Pumpkin is returning to Dunkin's menu later this month, the coffee chain announced on Instagram.
"now that it’s august... we’ve got some BIG news," read the caption of the Aug. 2 post.
While summer does not officially end until late September, coffee giants Dunkin' and Starbucks both typically release their fall menus in late August.
Many Dunkin' lovers are also eagerly awaiting the return of "Spidey D," a character inspired by the chain's seasonal spider donut that has taken over its social media accounts in recent years. Based on past seasons, Spidey has not emerged until October, so fans will have to wait and see.
Here's what to know about pumpkin's return to Dunkin'.
When is pumpkin coming back to Dunkin'?
Pumpkin will be back at Dunkin'
on Wednesday, Aug. 19, the company announced on Instagram.
It follows similar timing in recent years. In 2025, Dunkin' also launched its fall menu – including pumpkin – on the third Wednesday in August. The year before that, the company released its seasonal lineup on Aug. 28, 2024, the last Wednesday of the month.
When does Dunkin's fall menu come out?
Dunkin' has not yet announced when its full fall menu lineup will be available, or what will be included in it.
However, in past years, the chain has launched the seasonal offerings alongside the return of pumpkin, so it's possible that the fall menu could also come out on Aug. 19 as well.
What is in Dunkin's pumpkin spice latte?
Dunkin's pumpkin spice signature latte is typically available hot or iced. Made with flavors of pumpkin, vanilla and fall spices, it is also finished with whipped cream, caramel drizzle and cinnamon sugar.
The chain also offers a pumpkin flavor swirl, which can be added to drinks like hot or iced coffees. It has been available seasonally since 2007.

Those looking for their annual pumpkin fix from all the big-name coffee stops may also be wondering about Starbucks.
The Dunkin' competitor has not yet announced when its beloved pumpkin spice latte will return to menus, but based on past years, it could also be soon.
Starbucks, like Dunkin', typically releases its fall menu in late August. In 2025, Starbucks launched its pumpkin spice latte on Aug. 26.
