Miguel Rojas is retiring after 13 seasons in MLB.
He made the news official after the Los Angeles Dodgers were swept by the Milwaukee Brewers in the National League Championship Series, announcing his decision to retire in the Dodgers’ clubhouse after the Game 4 loss.
"This is it as a player,” Rojas told reporters. “That was my last game played; that was the last time I put these cleats on and this uniform on as a player.”
The Venezuelan spent the past four seasons in Los Angeles, winning back-to-back World Series in 2024 and 2025. He was a big reason the Dodgers repeated.
Rojas' biggest career moment came in the top of the ninth inning of Game 7 of the 2025 World Series when he hit a game-tying home run off Toronto Blue Jays closer Jeff Hoffman
at the Rogers Centre.
He returned to the Dodgers in 2026 to help chase the three-peat.
