No starting quarterback, no backup quarterback, no... problem?
The Chicago Bears hope not as they host the Philadelphia Eagles for a "Monday Night Football" clash to cap off a wild Week 3.
Third-string quarterback Case Keenum will be making the start in Chicago with starter Caleb Williams sidelined with his hamstring injury. Backup Tyson Bagent, who just cleared the league's concussion protocol on Sept. 27, will back up Keenum since his head injury kept him out of game-planning meetings during the week, per Fox Sports' Jay Glazer.
For the 38-year-old Keenum, it's his first start and first appearance since 2023, when he started two games for the Houston Texans. He went 1-1 filling in for then-rookie C.J. Stroud.
On the other sideline are the Eagles,
who escaped Tennessee with a win last week to move to 2-0. The Week 3 matchup will be the first game back for veteran tight end Zach Ertz.
The former Eagle re-signed to Philadelphia's practice squad – and is expected to be elevated to the active roster on Sept. 28 – amid injuries to Dallas Goedert, Grant Calcaterra and Eli Stowers. Should Ertz appear, it will be his first game with the Eagles since 2021, when Philadelphia traded him to the Arizona Cardinals mid-season.

What time does Bears vs Eagles NFL game start?
The Bears and Eagles game is scheduled to kick off at 8:15 p.m. ET (7:15 p.m. CT) on Monday, Sept. 28.
Chicago is hosting its second straight home game and coming off of a Week 2 loss to the Minnesota Vikings. Philadelphia is playing its second road game in a row, having just defeated the Titans in Nashville.

As with all "Monday Night Football" games, the Bears vs. Eagles game on Sept. 28 will be broadcast on ESPN and ABC. There will be no "ManningCast" alternate broadcast on ESPN2 this week.
